Personal Development Goals for Work: Be Happier and Healthier

personal development goals for work

Whether you’re managing others or focusing on your own personal growth, it’s a great idea to set personal development goals at work. This post will give you some ideas for making your employees happier and healthier.
This prevents you from settling for less than you’re capable of. You need to set ambitious goals that can be measured and have a deadline. The sample goals that follow are written in general terms, so customize them as you see fit (i.e., make them SMART).

Examples of Personal Development Goals for Work

1. Define your priorities

Which tasks do you want to focus on while at work? How does your career fit into your personal life (work-life balance)? These are priorities you might want to explore and define.
SMART Goal Examples
  • “Leave the office no later than 5:15 every day.”
  • “Spend no more than 1 hour a day replying to emails.”

2. Discover your values

The true definition of “success” is living a life consistent with your values. If your job undermines the principles that are important to you, you’ll be miserable. So take some time to think about what you value, and then write it down as a reminder.
SMART Goal Examples
  • “Laugh with a coworker at least once a day.” (Value: Humor)
  • “Find a new way to complete X task every week.” (Value: Creativity)

3. Define your ethics

On a similar note, it’s helpful to be clear about what you will and won’t do in the workplace.
Examples (Not Necessarily SMART Goals)
  • “Never engage in gossip with coworkers.”
  • “Be honest about my workload with my boss and coworkers.”

4. Develop your strengths and expertise3

Studies have generally found that it’s better to build on your strengths rather than fix your weaknesses. Professional development is important — not only because it can lead to promotions, but because you need to continue challenging and stimulating your brain as you grow older. Many people stop learning once they get comfortable with a job, and this is a surefire way to let your brain atrophy.
SMART Goal Examples
  • “Read at least one book about my profession1 every month.”
  • “Attend a workshop or seminar at least once a year.”

5. Improve your emotional intelligence

Researcher Daniel Goleman has found that IQ only predicts a tiny amount of one’s success. Instead, the people who succeed in the workplace are those with high emotional intelligence — those adept at listening, understanding, relating, and empathizing with other people. What’s interesting about this: emotional intelligence is a learnable skill.

6. Improve communication and teamwork1

This is closely related to improving your emotional intelligence. By improving communication, I mean speaking clearly about your responsibilities and expectations. Your coworkers and subordinates should know exactly what’s expected of them; not only how to do their task, but hownot to — as well as their deadline.
I’m defining “teamwork” here as cohesiveness and camaraderie. This can be developed through clear communication that promotes a sense of trust. Compliment your coworkers on a job well done. Give them permission to make mistakes — as long as they’re not the result of negligence. Ironically, people are less likely to screw up when the consequences aren’t as severe. Otherwise, the pressure tends to make them self-conscious.
SMART Goal Examples
  • “Compliment my coworkers on the quality of their work at least once a day.”
  • “When delegating a task, tell the person how to do it, how not to do it, and when I need the task done by.” (Technically not a SMART goal, but still very effective.)

7. Manage stress effectively

Stress is best managed through prevention: understanding what stresses you out and avoiding those situations entirely. When you can’t avoid the stress, however, try taking mindful breaths. Focus on the present moment and not what might happen in the future. It also helps tremendously to talk to a friend or family member. And to learn more scientifically proven techniques, download my book!
Examples (Not Necessarily SMART Goals)
  • “Avoid jobs/situations that I know will stress me out.”
  • “Practice mindfulness when I notice myself feeling stressed.”

8. Manage your time and stop multitasking

Multitasking is the single biggest killer of productivity. When you switch back and forth between several tasks, your brain needs some time to get caught up and figure out where you left off. Prevent this by focusing on one task at a time. Don’t stop until the task is complete or you need a break. I suggest that you start the workday by completing the most important and most valuable task on your agenda — something that will definitely make you, or your company, money. Again, don’t stop until the task is complete or you need a break.

9. Become a better listener

It actually takes a lot of skill and practice to be a great listener. Active listening involves listening intently to the other person, and then restating what you heard and confirming that you understand them correctly. You can increase your effectiveness even further by identifying the emotion they feel and then responding to it appropriately. By becoming a better listener, you’ll improve the quality of your work relationships, which means that you’ll enjoy better friendships and get support when you need it most.
Examples (Not Necessarily SMART Goals)
  • “Paraphrase the instructions I get from my boss to ensure I understand her correctly.”
  • “Notice when my coworkers are upset and speak calmly to avoid agitating them further.”

10 Self Improvement Activities

These self improvement activities will help you become more productive, get into the positive state of mind and achieve better quality of life.
In this article you will also find out how to use your energy effectively, what is the quickest way to achieve personal growth and how to excel in every activity.
1st Self Improvement Activity: Use your energy on important things
If you want to succeed in life, you should not waste your energy on activities that do not bring any benefits.
Such useless activities include surfing the internet without any purpose, watching TV, worrying and wasting money.
When you are involved in such activities, you have no or little energy left for activities that can create a better future. It is worth prioritising and accomplishing important tasks first, and then if you still have enough energy, you may decide to do the unimportant.
2nd Self Improvement Activity: Focus on one task at a time
If you want to get perfect results, you should only concentrate on one activity. This way all your energy will go into it and you will accomplish it perfectly.
If you waste your energy on several things at the same time, you will get average results because you will divide your energy between the activities.
3rd Self Improvement Activity: Control your thinking
To avoid chaos in your mind resulting in chaos in the outside world, you should try to observe your thoughts. Once you start doing that, you will notice how many negative thoughts you get daily.
By observing negative thinking you will be able to emotionally disengage from it. As a result, negative thinking will affect you less and you will notice that your days are getting more peaceful and positive.
4th Self Improvement Activity: Get organised
When you live in an organised manner, you do not suffer from stress and your life is peaceful and balanced.
To start living this way, you should start planning your day in advance. This will eliminate any stress caused by being late to a meeting or forgetting to complete some task.
You should also live in tidiness because by keeping your home clean you also keep your mental state clear and peaceful. Such mental state will benefit you in many ways, including improved memory and less negativity.
5th Self Improvement Activity: Live in the present
Although this self improvement activity may seem strange to you, it is a very important activity that many ignore. The majority of people do not live in the present. They either dwell on their past or daydream about the future. They seem to forget the most important time of all – the present.
You should enjoy every present moment because your current state of mind always manifests in the outside world, creating your future accordingly.
Therefore if your main mood is very positive, you will experience only happy days. However, if you dwell on negative thoughts, you are sure to encounter many obstacles and misfortunes in the present and days to come.
6th Self Improvement Activity: Complete each task in a perfect manner
Whenever you are working on some project, try to accomplish it in the best way possible. Always ask yourself ‘Is this project turned out as perfect as it could possibly be?’ If the answer is no, try to correct or add something to it until there is nothing that you can improve.
This way you will make sure that each single task you accomplish is done in an excellent manner. By doing this you will create successful future because you cannot possibly fail if you only get perfect results.
Also, when you entirely focus on one task excluding everything else, you will notice that you start enjoying the task. If you concentrate on the task but still do not enjoy it, that means that you probably see the task as a means to an end rather than the process.
You should start focusing on the process itself to find enjoyment in the task. Such enjoyment will fuel motivation and you will accomplish everything quicker and better.
If you enjoy your work, you will put only positive energy into it. As a result, your completed tasks will bring you success.
7th Self Improvement Activity: Challenge yourself
Nothing develops you more than challenges. Challenges force you to shift your comfort zone, experience new situations and make you grow. Without challenges life would be very boring and depressing.
Challenges are necessary for every human being who is seeking quality life. Only through trial and error you realise who you really are, which activities you like and what preferences you have.
You can easily measure the success of a person by the amount of challenges s/he had.
8th Self Improvement Activity: Read personal development books
There is nothing more important than searching information about self improvement. Without reading any self improvement books or articles you cannot improve yourself.
I have written an article about 20 life changing personal development books. It might be worth checking them out. Many of them are available for free! Click here to read this article.
9th Self Improvement Activity: Socialize only with positive people
Positive people can inspire, empower and make you happy. It is so much worth to be at least once in a while with positive people rather than constantly spend time with negative friends or relatives.
If you spend your days with, for example, lazy people, you may notice that you are becoming lazy.
If all your friends’ main qualities are negative, try to avoid all of them. This way you will not be affected in a negative way and after some time will start attracting positive people.
10th Self Improvement Activity: Exercise
Daily exercise develops determination, focus and patience. It improves your health and strengthens your body. It makes you more active, positive and invincible.
People who exercise every day are always perceived as strong-willed and disciplined.
Conclusion
These personal improvement activities are sure to put you on the track to success. I hope that you will apply the steps in this article and, as a result, will greatly improve the quality of your life.

Stand out, be exceptional, and be unstoppable.

Stand out in everything you do. If you do, the rewards you reap will be beyond your imagination.
Want to be filthy rich? Drive sports car? Own an Ireland? Want to be famous? Have extraordinary relationships with your friends and children? Want to have an incredible romance that anyone would envy in a good way? Want to enjoy an extraordinary healthy and athletic body?
Stand out my friend! Stand out beyond what anyone else can expect. Outperform even your own expectations and what you thought was possible. In everything you do, demand more than anyone else could expect.
Be so good that they can’t ignore you. Be the best that you can be on Planet Earth, in your vocation.  It does not matter whether you are a mother, father, son, daughter, employee, teacher, businessman/ businesswoman or friend)
Stand out in all areas. Our civilization emphasizes greatness and exceptionality. Be irreplaceable.

Use your brain and body rather than have your brain and body use you.

Do you want to be very healthy, stop smoking and/or drinking? Do you want to stop eating tons of desserts? Or perhaps, start the dream business that you have thought about for years? Maybe you want to have outstanding relationships? Get rid of any destructive habit…
But, you cannot break through? You quit or start something and then after few weeks return to the same old habits and it is not lasting? It is because your mind, body and old habits use you.
You don’t change, because you are linking very great pleasure to do what you keep doing, and to change it all means pain for you. You have to turn it all around! That’s the only way.
Understand this; you are a programmed survival machine and consist of molecules known as genes. Genes want to survive and to accomplish this, they created your body and mind in a way where you will do anything to avoid pain and gain pleasure.
In an instant, you can change virtually everything in your life, if you start by utilizing the principle of pain and pleasure. Logic does not work; it must be a deep emotion of pain and pleasure.
“The secret of success is learning how to use pain and pleasure instead of having pain and pleasure use you. If you do that, you’re in control of your life. If you don’t, life controls you.” – Tony Robbins

Create the most empowering environment around yourself.

You are with chickens; you end up a chicken, and what if you are with eagles? You are the eagle, sooner or later. You are your environment and this is your most significant influence. Break out!
“You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with.” – Jim Rohn
Environment sounds like a cliche, but it is true. Mark those words.

Visualize, believe and have the most explosive outstanding attitude.

How much potential do you think you have? You know that it is unlimited, yet how much of it do we tap into? Very little. How to further tap into your potential? Visualize results, visualize yourself successfully, visualize being 10x bigger this will install belief in yourself. Do it over and over again. You have potential and to tap into it one of the ways is to see yourself much bigger.
Make your attitudes best friends as well. Wake up each day as the most successful person, like today; you will blast trough life like never before. Instead of worry, doubt, fear, indecision and procrastination, cultivate creativity, joy, deep love, empathy, enthusiasm, confidence, enlightenment, power, and certainty. Cultivate all the best emotions that your body and brain are capable off.  This will bring out the best in you and enable you to tao into more of your potential. Train yourself to be the best in a situation. Destructive and negative emotions are only useful for a moment—for a second or two, then just move on. Train yourself to feel the best that life has to offer. By aiming for the best states and attitudes, you will accomplish more in one year than most people in their lifetime.
Change limiting beliefs; these are like smoke and stops you; they are nothing. Rather, install new beliefs such as, “If I can visualize and see it, I can make it happen.”
Eliminate and silence self-sabotaging and destructive mind beliefs and do not let them control you.
Realize this, being this consciousness and this developed as a human being is the most extraordinary gift and miracle—see everything as an opportunity, regardless of the outcome.

Make prompt and quick decisions.

Decision… do you know what it is? When you decide you have no other possible way to retreat or look back. When you decide it is unchangeable unless some path leads to the greater outcome and your greater desire.
Right now,  you can decide to change anything—anything! That power is within you, right now.

Don’t procrastinate on your biggest dreams.

Don’t say someday, don’t say tomorrow. You won’t do it!  Go for your dream right now—start working right now.
Most people dwell on decisions for years and months and in the end, they don’t even make that decision. They wait for life to hand it to them. Don’t wait.  Be different.
Time will ruthlessly pass by leaving you filled with regret on your deathbed. Look at the picture below.

Imitate as close as possible your masters and outperform them.

Don’t waste your time here on Planet Earth. If you want to achieve something, there is someone who already has what you want! Pick their brain, whether it is via a book, blog, dinner, record, interview or video on YouTube. Once you get the strategy, apply it. You will have a strategy that took that person 10 – 20 years of hard work to figure it out.
More importantly, remember being exceptional and standing out? When you find your master for a particular area, apply the principals and improve your life. The results will exceed your expectations—the world will be your oyster.
There are strategies all around you for anything you want. Do what he or she says, or what he or she does. IMITATE AS CLOSELY AS POSSIBLE.

Develop deep empathy, the highest social intelligence and cultivate an understanding of people.

You will do everything in your life through people. Those who understand what makes a person tick, will make the most of their existence and time here. You have to know what moves people and understand them. You have to delve deep into reality and see people as they are. Understanding people is a power that is accessible to all of us, and you must master it. Otherwise, you will have very big conflicts, confusions, and emotional drains and your career or business will suffer.

Never give in. Never.

Most people give up just before they reach success or breakthrough in their life. During the hardest moments, empower yourself. You will face many rejections and pain, setbacks, losses and temporary defeats, but never give in. Even it requires many failures, don’t quit. If you quit, you can’t win. Learn from experience and keep going towards your dream. That’s how you learned to walk, eat, talk, and drive.
“Before success comes in any man’s life, he is sure to meet with much temporary defeat, and, perhaps, some failure. When defeat overtakes a man, the easiest and most logical thing to do is to quit. That is exactly what the majority of men do. More than five hundred of the most successful men this country has ever known told the author their greatest success came just one step beyond the point at which defeat had overtaken them.” – Napoleon Hill, Think and Grow Rich

6 Professional Development Goals To Set For Your Managers

See greater profitability and quantifiable results by setting these 6 professional development goals. Are there areas of your workforce where you want to see improvement, but you don’t know where to start? Perhaps your employees’ job performance is only passable, and you’re ready to see outstanding. Setting professional development goals for your managers is a strategic way to achieve greater productivity and quantifiable results.
There is an art to establishing objectives for your leaders, so make sure that the professional development goals you set are:
  • Clear – Managers should easily understand the goals they're working toward and why those goals are necessary.
  • Measurable – The ability to identify progress encourages employees and boosts confidence.
  • Realistic – While goals should be challenging, they should also be achievable.
  • On A Timeline – When goals have beginning and end points, team members work to reach the finish line.
  • Rewarded – If a goal is achieved, it’s essential to give recognition. This heightens employee confidence and encourages further progress.
Once you understand how to set goals, focus on the various areas of improvement. The following six goals are structured to help your managers advance productivity and develop into stronger leaders.
1. Enhance Communication
Achieving communication goals doesn’t just benefit your managers; it helps their entire team. You know how greatlypoor communication slows your productivity, so this area should always be on your list of professional development goals. Invest in a management training program that focuses on communication and that teaches your managers how to be clear and concise with their verbal and nonverbal interactions.
2. Hone Coaching Skills
Coaching employees comes easily to some managers, but it’s a learned skill for others. You want your employees to succeed and eventually move up through the company. As managers learn to coach employees through their challenges and identify their strengths, this builds an environment that’s conducive to growth. Set goals to hone this management skill with measureable results, like improved employee performance and profitability.
 3. Become A Better Motivator
If you want your team to run like a well-oiled machine, motivating team members is a key management skill for leaders to master. Why is it important? When your employees are unmotivated, your business suffers from dips in productivity and morale. Identify opportunities for your leaders to engage in management training that addresses motivation, and when they do, look for results. If you enhance motivation skills, you improve your employees’ work ethic and maximize their effectiveness.
4. Increase Productivity
Among the many professional development goals, few are more important to highlight than productivity. When your managers’ individual job productivity improves, it’s beneficial to your entire company. Set productivity goals like finishing projects before due dates or outputting more product than the previous month.
5. Support And Manage Change
Change management is a hot topic. Setting change management goals is a fundamental way to get your managers on board with any transition, as well as motivated to see it through to implementation. Incorporating change management training into your professional development program prepares your leaders for future change. With the right approach, you’re going to see increased employee retention, productivity, loyalty and acceptance of change.
6. Improve Retention Rates
Retaining winning talent is a critical professional development goal to set for your managers. Lowering the number of employees that leave your company helps maintain processes and mitigate upheaval. Provide management training to help your leaders create supportive work environments and trajectories for growth that encourage employees to stay with the company.
Setting professional development goals is a useful way to train and motivate your managers. If you want to see increased results within your company, don’t end the management training process at goal setting.

10 Personal Development Ideas

These personal development ideas will serve as a good start if you are starting off in personal development.
They will put you on the right track to be in control of any situation, achieve goals and become a better person.
Rise above competition – 1st personal development idea
The most important reason why competition does not serve you any good is because it shows that you still live in the scarcity mindset.
This is the mental state where thoughts of competition originate. If you know that there is not enough to go around, you will try to rush to take something from someone else.
It may be hard for you to think that competition is wrong because it is so highly valued in our society. It seems like every politician or other well paid employee thinks that only by competition you get what you want.
But that’s why they are employees. They do not realise that by not participating in competition they would become independent and free, just as their natural state should be.
When you realise that competition is wrong and stop trying to gain something at others’ expense, you gradually fall into the abundance mindset. You start to realise that you can get everything you think about, and this assures you that there will always be more than enough of everything for everyone.
But what if you still are in scarcity mindset, and don’t know how to get out of it? You will need to introduce a positive affirmation in your daily life. It could sound as this one: “I see abundance everywhere”. Or it could be put in this way:”There is more than enough of resources in the world for everyone”. Whichever appeals to you more.
You will also need to train your eyes not to see what you don’t want to appear in your life. If you want to eliminate the thoughts of scarcity, direct your attention to the manifestations of abundance. Look at lush nature, luxury cars, singing morning birds, confident and wealthy people, royal buildings – whatever you associate with abundance.
There are many wealth symbols to choose from, it just depends which symbols represent wealth to you. I can look at nature and see the pure proof of abundance on this planet, yet others can see abundance symbols by looking at new gadgets and luxury clothes.
Once you train your eyes to concentrate on such symbols, you will start creative process in you. Your thinking will definitely change as you no longer see poverty manifestations. By constantly looking at wealth symbols you will develop desire to become abundant.
As now you easily focus on abundance, you will have no difficulty in creating thoughts of abundance. These thoughts will manifest in your life bringing everything you deeply thought of.
Meditate – 2nd personal development idea
Meditation lays a good foundation to success. It prepares mental soil for the seeds of abundance (if you choose so).
Meditation eliminates negative thinking and removes negative emotions from your head. I am not exactly sure why that happens, but it might be because with practice of meditation you get into a lower frequency of brain activity. In this state the cleaning process might occur.
You will not get rid of all negative thoughts after meditating once, but with continuous meditation you will get to such state.
You will notice that after meditation you feel peaceful. There are not many thoughts circling in your head and you feel harmony inside. I can describe this feeling as if you have been shielded from harmful thoughts, events and other negative occurrences. You feel calm and secure.
Sometimes you will get into deep meditation (theta state). You will get so disengaged from your mind that you will become aligned with the universe and that will cause you to get a rush of great ideas.
That happens to me quite often as I have been meditating for a while. Great ideas just flow to you and you get those ‘wow’ moments where you cannot believe that you became aware of such an amazing idea.
I also get reminders through meditation of what I should do to achieve some particular goal. It’s like the consciousness that I am knows exactly what I should to and keeps reminding me of tasks I would forget otherwise.
As soon as you start implementing this personal development idea, you will get less stressed and finally you will not get stressed at all. Negative events will not affect you as much because you will care less about them. Your main concentration will be on things that are good and valuable.
You will start feeling joy for no apparent reason. You will catch yourself in the moments of perfect peace and happiness. It will seem that nothing is wrong in this world and that you are the happiest person in the world. This is a magic state that meditation creates. Such state should be a natural state for everyone, but to most people this state is impossible to get into because of all the negativity in their minds.
With further practice of meditation, your intuition will sharpen. You will get stronger feelings from inside warning you or urging you to take some action. You should never ignore such signs as they will only help you to achieve more and become a better person.
You will understand what foods are good for you and what foods damage you. Of course, this will not come instantly. It may take some time, around 2-6 months of meditation for some. You may stop eating meat and other foods. That is because your body tells you that you have been polluting yourelf with food you do not need.
The most important change that you will experience is clear thinking. Because you don’t have so many negative thoughts in your head, you will start seeing clear picture of any given situation. You will know exactly what to do and how to go about any given situation.
Set Goals – 3rd personal development idea
Definite goals serve one important purpose. They keep you pro-active. Without any goals, you react to circumstances and events. External things control you. With goals, you create your own circumstances and events. Therefore you become a master of your destiny.
By setting goals you keep progressing and improving your life. You can only reach destination if you define it. Setting goals is the process to do that. You will not stagnate if you keep working on this personal development idea.
Setting goals lets you achieve more comfort in life. The main mistake people make is that they set goals to achieve happiness. Happiness cannot be the object of your goal. Happiness is something you have inside you all the time. Maybe you have not discovered it yet, but it is there.
Meditation is the tool that can give you a glimpse of your happiness, but it is not the way to acquire it. In short, happiness can be found by being in the present moment and being satisfied with who you are, rather than looking at some point in the future and hoping for happiness there.
Do not follow masses – 4th personal development idea
What is popular is wrong. Following the common equals being common. You should learn from the best, and ignore the rest. This is the only way to succeed. Observe the masses, and do the opposite. Masses are where they are because their thinking causes them to be there.
Masses will tell you that only by working hard you succeed. Most of them work hard. Are they successful? No. You should never listen to someone that is in the same position as you but teaches you what action to take to become successful.
People do not succeed because they listen to average people who struggle against life. “What you resist, persists.” Have you heard this saying? This is exactly why masses never make it. They keep fighting against unfavourable circumstances so they remain stuck right there.
If you are in circumstances you want to get out of, be okay with that. Fighting such circumstances will only cause feeling of hopelessness and depression. You should accept the situation you are in and be neutral about it.
When you take action from such peaceful state of mind, your action will get you out of whatever circumstances you are in. Whereas if you take action with struggling mind, your action will bring more struggle in your life.
Focus on right things – 5th personal development idea
You should give your undivided attention to tasks that will lead you to success. So instead of spending time doing activities that eliminate your chances of success (like watching TV) you should concentrate on taking steps that will get you faster to your destination.
You should always strive to be pro-active and make things happen. Being reactive causes you to lose focus because you are busy responding to events and circumstances being thrown at you.
You should try not to get caught up with too many tasks. I would suggest eliminating unimportant ones and concentrating on those tasks that will benefit you most. You may want to read the 80/20 rule article to get better understanding of how to accomplish this.
Conquer Fear – 6th personal development idea
Fearful people are never successful. Their fear prevents them from succeeding and becoming what they want to become. Fear always stops progress and stalls people.
The quickest way to implement this personal development idea is by facing fear. However, the easiest way to get rid of fear is by understanding that you are in control of everything.
You constantly manifest your main mental state. The world you see around you is the manifestation of how you feel inside. Once you understand this you will not fear anything because you will know that you can create everything you want by changing your mental state.
Develop good habits – 7th personal development idea
We usually find no difficulty developing bad habits, but it takes discipline and willpower to create good ones.
Take your time to create one good habit at a time. If you perform any act every day for 30 days, you will develop a habit. Habits form after around 21 days, but I suggest to take a 30 day time frame just for extra safety net.
Habits form who you are so you should strive to have only excellent habits. If you only have excellent habits, your life must become excellent, it cannot be any other way.
Read Self-help books – 8th personal development idea
The only way to acquire knowledge is through information. Without new information you cannot make progress. Only by constantly searching for suitable information sources you can get ahead.
The best information source for personal development is reading self-help books. Reading about the subject you are interested in will inspire and empower you. This will cause you to become motivated to take action towards your desired goal.
Be grateful – 9th personal development idea
Gratitude brings you more and better things you are grateful for. This is because the universe responds to your gratitude in giving more of what you are thankful for.
Being grateful is the cause, getting more of what you are thanking for is the effect. Every action has a specific reaction, therefore gratitude has this specific reaction that can never be altered.
Gratitude is a very powerful force that reaches the object to which you are thanking instantly. It also gets you into a harmonious state aligned with the universe. This puts you in a flow of life causing you to acquire success effortlessly.
Visualise – 10th personal development idea
This personal development idea will keep you progressing in life and giving you clues and opportunities to achieve what you are visualising.
If you keep in mind one image for a while without being distracted, you will bring that image into manifestation.
After visualisation you may start seeing clues as to what you need to do to get your desires. Be sure to act on them to bring your visualisation into reality.
You should be aware that this personal development idea does not work alone. If your constant mental state is negative, ten minutes a day of visualisation will not bring you success.
This is because once you visualise your desires, your negative state of mind serves like an obstacle preventing you from getting what you want. What you visualised have already manifested in the non-physical world, yet the manifestations are prevented from reaching you because of your mind.
